Policies

Policies:


*A non-refundable credit card deposit of $100 is due at the time of booking to secure your date.  A filled out and signed contract confirms your booking.   Your booking is not secure without both of these items.

 

*The first bride to offer a deposit and signed contract will get the date that they want.   I continue to take trials for a given date until that date is booked with a deposit and a contract.

*The cost for the trial is non-refundable and does not go toward your final total.  If you want to book for your wedding day after your trial, you must offer a deposit and sign a contract. 

*Client is responsible for any parking charges, including valet.

*The remainder of the balance will be charged to your card after the job is done, unless paid otherwise on the day of the event. (CASH OR CREDIT ONLY)

*Tip is not included with the price.

*For those of you who choose ala carte services rather than DAY RATE:  I am on the clock. Please be ready at your scheduled time. If I have to wait because others are not ready, I do charge a wait rate of $175 an hour. This amount will automatically be charged to the card on file.  Time starts when I say I am ready - typically 15 minutes after I arrive to set up. 

* Holiday regulations- I do charge more for the following holidays: Christmas eve,  New Years Eve,  Christmas, New Years Day, Valentines Day, Easter, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4, Labor Day Weekend, Halloween and Thanksgiving. If your date falls within the "holiday weekend," the holiday rate applies.  Holiday weddings also have a different cancellation policy. You must cancel 4 months (120 days) before the event date to avoid any charges.

* When filling out the contract please review exactly who is having what type of service. You may subtract people before the cancellation period (60 + days before the wedding date). You may add people after if time permits, but changes must be made via email and or phone.  Additional charges will incur if additional services are added

* I accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. The balance
can also be paid by cash. Checks are not accepted. 

* There is a minimum of $500.00 for all events within San Francisco and the Bay Area

*There is a minimum of $600.00 for all events in the East Bay, particularly (Livermore, Danville, Pleasanton, Walnut Creek, Hayward, San Leandro, Dublin etc)

* There is a $750.00 minimum for weddings in Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley or the South Bay. 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

*There is a 60 day (2 months before the event) cancellation policy; if you cancel with less than 2 months notice, you will be charged 50% of the quoted rate. If you cancel less than 30 days before the date, you will be charged 100% of the contract total, plus a $500 cancellation fee. 

If for some reason, you do not need my services (wedding called off, location changed to another city/state, etc.), or if you choose not to use Erica Carr's hair and makeup services, to avoid charges you MUST send a certified letter no less than 60 days before your date to my address. 706 Castro St. Suite A- San Francisco, CA 94114.  There are no exceptions to this policy.
